Services
Bloom Development provides psychoeducation and coaching to individuals in small group settings and couples.
The therapeutic atmosphere of the small group setting(4 to 6 participants) offers clients the opportunity to give and receive acceptance, understanding and support as they identify and work through the obstacles that have blocked their growth … until now!
Similarly, couples who are stuck in a pattern of misunderstandings and unproductive communication will find the structured Couples Boundary Workshop promotes clarity, respect and a deeper love in the relationship.
Exploring how Bloom Development’s approach can help you starts with a free, 20-minute, introductory consultation.
Becoming a Client
Agreeing to work together is an exciting first step! I’m looking forward to supporting each step you take.
Intake Assessment
Meeting in-person is the first step in our professional relationship. The intake interview is an opportunity for me to get to know you; to learn what you want to work on and who you are as a person.
We will talk about your family and how you fit in, your physical and emotional health and what a typical day is like for you. It is a structured interview lasting about 90 minutes.
Once complete, we will be ready to get started.
Couples Boundary Workshop
Starting in September of 2026.
The Couples Boundary Workshop is based on a trauma resolution and communication model developed by Pia Mellody.
This workshop is a structured, two day, 12-hour, intensive, guided process. Partners sit opposite one another and receive guidance and support as they explore the individual issues that are impacting their relationship as a couple. Participants will learn and practice communicating in a clear, direct, empathic and safe manner.
This approach, along with improved listening and talking skills gives way to deeper empathy, understanding, respect and love in the relationship.
Group Format
Bloom Development’s psychoeducation groups are small — no more than six participants per 90-minute session. This allows members to get to know each other, establish safety and trust, share personal experiences, support one another and build relationships.
Before and after each group, members will be asked to complete a 5-minute survey to track their knowledge and learning and help Bloom Development improve its curriculum design.
The material discussed may elicits feelings. Members will be encouraged to speak as they are comfortable. Cross-talk will be allowed. Members will also be encouraged to write down their thoughts for discussion.
Whether talking or listening, each participant will be supported throughout the session in their healing journey.
